Auckland Harbour Bridge
The Auckland Harbour Bridge, which connects downtown Auckland to the northern suburbs and the sandy beaches of the bays farther north, was finished in 1959 and is more than one kilometre long and 43 metres high.
The bridge also has a variety of exciting activities to add to your sightseeing experience. The Auckland Harbour Bridge bungee leap, which involves travelling an exclusive bridge walk before dropping 40 metres into the harbour water below, is one of the most popular thrills to try.
If bungee jumping isn’t your style, take a guided Auckland Harbour Bridge Climb to see the magnificent views from the top of the bridge.
